Industry Manager – Charities

From shop fittings and showcases to carrier bags, hangers and tickets, we offer retailers everything they need to run a successful retail business. Working for a busy company, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our field sales team specifically supporting our clients in the Charity sector.

Day to Day Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing Charity clients throughout the UK
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or product lines
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Present and promote products to potential and existing customers through meetings, trade shows, and product demonstrations
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company policies and profitability goals
  • Process orders accurately and ensure timely delivery to clients
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • To grow & foster good working relationships with all clients (existing and potential) within your allocated industry/area, identifying their decision makers and needs
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Play an active role in new and existing product development

Essential Skills

  • Must have a full driving licence
  • Proven experience (two years+ preferred) in B2B sales, or account management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events (as needed)
  • Demonstrable experience in B2B sales

Hours are 8.30 am – 5.00 pm Monday-Friday (37.5 hr week), although flexibility of hours within the working week is required.
